Hello, I am Marta!

has always been linked to the arts and literature. Graduated in Ancient History from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, I dedicated some time to writing articles about the History of Women in Classical Antiquity Among the magazines for which I worked as a writer is Historia National Geographic

I have never stopped dedicating myself to music, initially as a singer, graduating with a Middle Grade in Voice at the Aula de Músics del Conservatori del Liceo. Gradually, I realized that music is not just about knowing how to sing or understanding music theory There is a whole world of technology and management behind music that I wanted to experience firsthand To compose and edit my own music, I graduated as a Sound Technician at Microfusa. Specifically, I specialized in Music Production in Software, Studio Recording, and Microphony.

At the same time, I pursued the Music Production Analysis specialization at Berklee College of Music (California), which changed the way I listen to and approach music

Currently, I am pursuing the international certifications in Modern Vocal Training and workshops on functional anatomy applied to the voice by Javi Prieto

After many years dedicated to music, I felt the need to explore the world of Cultural Management and the Music Industry that lies behind event production, music distribution, record labels, management, publishers… So, I took a course in it Postgraduate program at UPF in ‘Management and Administration of Companies in the World of Music These studies allowed me to work in the record label Blanco y Negro And subsequently, launch my own management and booking project: Mandrake’s Lullaby Music Productions

Canto con Clase was professionally established in 2009. It is a project dedicated to music education, specifically focusing on vocal coaching and training, catering to both amateurs and professionals

As a vocalist, I began in various groups and participated as a singer in the combos of the Aula de Músics dedicated to bands like The Police, Queen, Dream Theater… with whom I had the opportunity to perform for 3 years at the renowned Jamboree venue in Barcelona.

For 3 years, I was a member of the first formation of the Barcelona Gospel Messengers directed by Ramon Escalé, with whom I had the honor to share stages such as: El Palau de la Música , TV3 , El Petit Palau, Auditorium of the Conservatori del Liceu , Palau Nacional , Jazz at Night in Premià de Dalt and Teatre Grec within the Festival Mas i Mas …among others. I have also participated in the backing vocals of bands such as RESPECT (Aretha Franklin tribute band).

Currently, in parallel to my teaching activity as a singing teacher and vocal coach, I am the frontwoman of the Queen tribute band: Hammer to Falland other groups such as Simon Rock’s (rock ’60-’70), Not Penny’s Boat (Acoustic Covers ) and Songs From the Stage (Broadway and West End musicals).

Hammer To Fall

With Hammer to Fall we want to pay tribute to one of the legendary bands in the history of Rock: Queen.

As a tribute, our intention is to bring Queen’s music live to all audiences: we want long-time fans to relive the emotions they once felt at the concerts of the band led by Freddie and also for those who do not know Queen to discover their magnificent music, enjoy it and become unconditional fans of Mercury, May, Deacon and Taylor.
